We have built in a lot of free time for shopping and sightseeing, especially while in Avignon. Special note: Sightseeing in southern France will include a full day in the City of Arles, visiting the Pont du Gard, a Roman aqueduct crossing the Gard River, a Unesco World Heritage Site. And the historic mountain top village and fortification of Chateau des Baux.
